Test shot of the beautiful lady
Mary Margaret Henry had one of those faces that once I saw, I immediately wanted to photograph. Red hair, blue eyes, freckles, what could possibly go wrong? Nothing obviously, so I decided it was safe to have a bunch of glitter thrown on her face for a beauty shoot. Yay power of creativity! Managed to get myself a wonderful team to work with as it was NYC Land of Insanely Talented People, so that made the shoot way easier. Nai created these beautiful waves that the rooftop wind would try to destroy once awhile as Laura painstakingly put the glitter on Mary's face. All Mary had to do was look pretty while I attempted blinding her with my shiny reflector. Artistic sacrifice yes? It was a relatively simple setup, just the blazing sun and my trusty reflector. (that wasn't actually mine cause I lost mine and actually had to rent this one but nevertheless still trusty) Nothing got blown off the roof and model managed to retain her eyesight so I would say this was one of my favourite outdoor beauty shoots. Thank God for the gorgeous blue skies too!
Anyway, these photos got published in The Storm Magazine #05, you can check the issue out here. Hope you like them!!
